Follow the Monarch Life Cycle - The last act of being a caterpillar is to begin the reorginazation process before making a chrysalis. Monarch caterpillars do this while hanging in the shape of the letter J. The monarch caterpillars often move to another location for this process. This caterpillar moved into a nearby Penstemon bush to make its chrysalis.
