Whimbrel on the beach at Emma Wood State Park. The lowest tide of the year only comes once. That seemed like a good enough excuse to go visit tide pools and see the sights. As the sun was getting low in the sky I got a chance to get close to this Whimbrel. Emma Wood State Beach, Ventura, California.
