Scrub Jay

Scrub Jay was following me about bounding from branch to branch in the apple tree nearby while I was trimming the roses. Instead of the usual raucus calls this scrub jay was communicating with a soft chortle, probably expecting a peanut ~ Photo taken at a private residence in Ojai, CA.
